AI-999 Asbestos Beater Jointing (Grade: AI-999) is a high-density gasket material formulated using Nitrile Rubber (NBR) binder and long-length processed asbestos fibres. Designed for heavy-duty engine applications, it provides exceptional sealing performance, superior mechanical strength, and long-term durability under extreme operating pressures and temperatures.
Compared to lower grades such as AI-777 and AI-888, this product delivers higher tensile strength and enhanced oil and fuel resistance, making it ideal for metal-reinforced gasket assemblies and critical engine joints like cylinder heads, exhaust manifolds, and turbine housings.
